Gardner, Massachusetts Rose M Desgroseilliers 1921 — 2023 Rose M. Desgroseilliers of Gardner died unexpectedly of pneumonia on December 16th at Heywood Hospital with her children by her side. She was 102 years old. Rose was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Eastern High School in Detroit in 1940. She met and married her husband of 65 years during World War II when he was stationed as a flight engineer at the B-29 Army - Air Base in Fairmount, Nebraska. Rose was hired by the U.S. War Department during the War and worked as a secretary at the same base.
